Many a times in our lives, we do face problems. These problems are bound to break us emotionally as well as psychologically. Therefore, as a way out, one make take the help of certain chemical substances like the drugs that relieves him of all tensions or stress temporarily. This may lead him to getting addicted, drug addicted, so much so, that his body has an intense craving for the drugs and becomes dependent on it. The intensity of this dependency is so high, that the addicted may experience unpleasant physical reactions if not had the daily dose of drugs.  

The emotional imbalance may not be the sole reason behind the cause of addiction. The Social pressure, or even company or circle of people with whom we are acquainted, matters a lot. There is age limit or gender difference for the drug addiction. It has been surveyed that, the greater number of drug addicted people fall between the category of teenagers as well as the adolescent people.     

Remember, that drug addiction is fatal. Drug addiction requires timely help. If not treated timely, the addicted is bound to destroy his social as well as his personal life, indulge in crimes, and commit suicide. Though difficult, it is not impossible to give up the habit of drug addition. With support from the family and friends and with the help of treatment centers, drug addiction can be quitted completely.
