Narcotics anonymous offer a process of recovery and network of support of the addicts. The success of the narcotics anonymous lies in its therapeutic value where the addicts are working together. They get a chance to share their challenges as well as achievements while overcoming their drug addiction in order to lead a drug-free normal life.

Narcotics anonymous is not affiliated to any other organizations. It does not employ professional counselors neither provides residential facilities. It works only on one mission and that is providing an environment where the addicts can help each other cease their use of drugs and lead a new life.

Narcotics anonymous works on certain established principles that form the core of their recovery program. These principles include seeking help, confidential disclosure, admitting that there is a problem, engaging in self-examination tests, making amendments for the harm that is being done and helping other drug addicts who wish to recover.
