Rebecca's House Eating Disorders Treatment Programs™ provide several unique programs for eating disorder recovery from anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, food addictions, yo-yo dieting, binge eating, and overeating. Some of our clients are also challenged with drug abuse or alcoholism. If you or a family member is suffering from an eating disorder, there is hope. You can recover and go on to live a happy, productive life, free of obsessive thoughts and behaviors surrounding food, weight, and body image.

| Facility Description: |
Rebecca's House is a warm, homelike setting, just minutes from Laguna Beach, California. Rebecca’s House is an elegantly appointed 5500 sq. ft., 5-bedroom, secluded home located just minutes from Laguna Beach in Southern California. Some of our amenities include a pool, vegetable garden, flower gardens, Jacuzzi, sauna, meditation cottage, gym, outside fire circle, and a crafts area. The house is within walking distance of a mall, 12-step meetings, banks, shops, and employment opportunities. There are many optional activities such as swimming, cooking classes, sewing, acupuncture, massages, Tai Chi, Yoga, and gardening—all in a warm atmosphere of recovering women helping each other. |
| Treatment Philosophy Statement: |
We have found the most effective person to reach someone with an eating disorder is another person who has been there too. Many of our staff have years of recovery themselves. Relating in this manner immediately removes the shame and guilt associated with eating disorders. Our licensed professionals instill hope and model a productive life of recovery. We inspire our clients to a life beyond physical recovery, living up to their potential.
Our philosophy is to help our clients get in touch with Self and internalize their own controls by learning appropriate techniques and tools to use in place of the food. We believe the controls around food must be within for long-term recovery. Our goal is to help clients get in touch with themselves, be true to themselves, and care for themselves in healthy ways.
