| Center quote: |
| The mission of Sundown Ranch, Inc. is to provide quality treatment for chemically dependent individuals and to provide education and supportive services to their families. |
| General Information: |
Sundown Ranch is a treatment facility designed to meet the needs of individuals suffering from chemical dependency and related co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Our primary purpose is to provide quality services to adolescents and young adults. The ranch, 450 acres of rolling hills, lakes and trees, provides a highly structured and individualized program in an environment where young people can learn to live free of drugs and alcohol. In combating their dependency, clients develop a sense of personal identity, and strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence. The open peaceful environment-a contrast to the institutional, hospital-like atmosphere of many rehabilitation facilities is part of the treatment and therapy. |
| Facility Description: |
Our facilities are located on a scenic working ranch in East Texas. The living, and therapeutic areas are located in an old west town setting that provide a peaceful, comfortable, safe and healthy environment. All of our client living areas are staffed 24 hours-a-day by Sundown Ranch personnel. |
| Treatment Philosophy Statement: |
Our vision is that everything we do reflects our deep commitment and sense of responsibility to the children and families we serve now and in the future. |
